Namaste! We just heard from our two SKS Nepal board members about their current situation in their villages of Dhading and Kavre. One of the worst affected district in Dhading, our eight children comes from the small villages there. It is reported that all the houses of the children have been destroyed either completely or partially, leaving no room to live in.Like most of the other people there, all the children are living outside of their houses with the entire family members, in open fields in temporary tents that are blown away time to time by wind and heavy rainfall. They are compelled to live in such difficult condition. There is scarcity of food and water everywhere and proper medical attention are needed to the sick members of their family. Like wise in Kavre district, where most of the Tamang children comes from.The situation there is also same. Most of the children’s homes has been cracked, crumbled and standing with broken structures. And it is also reported that the families have been forced to sleep in open skies with no proper tents and hygienic food to eat. It really sinks our heart to hear such painful situation of our children and their families. We hope this Emergency Relief Fund shall replace tears and sorrow with bright smiles and happiness on the faces of our children. God bless all!
